Happy New Year [We’re Making 2020 the Year of Energy Efficiency]
I'm dispatching this January newsletter from New York, where I’m checking in on Veteran LED’s new offices at 25 Broadway.
Yes, we’re still based in Virginia. But recently, we openedour QuipTech arm in Lower Manhattan. Our team has been working to develop new partnerships here, and is thrilled about helping people achieve greater energy efficiency — and financial savings.
We’re also looking forward to using our new Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business Certification from New York to help with our expansions plans. Just today, the state’s Public Service Commission issued an order toward implementing “New Efficiency: New York.”

Some of you may not be aware I worked in aviation for almost 10 years.
I certified aircraft parts for flight. I fabricated, overhauled, inspected, and tested components and systems on multimillion-dollar aircraft supporting our warfighters.

Veteran LED is looking for a sales associate to work closely with target prospects and customers through a variety of online research methods. You will perform analysis of inbound and outbound prospects’ business and engage with these prospects by phone and/or email.
The purpose of this outreach is to set up introductory calls with target influencers and decision makers. In turn, your job is to make sure a majority of these calls become qualified opportunities for the Veteran LED Operations Team.
In order to do this job well, the Sales Associate must be a self-starter, analytical, metrics driven, and able to identify business challenges and articulate the Veteran LED value proposition to prospects. Professional judgment that allows you to carry conversation with C-Level and VP level executives is also a must.
