[Veteran LED Chosen for Energy Efficiency Project]

Veteran LED is honored to begin work on a sweeping energy efficiency project for the NATO Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk, Virginia.

This is the NATO command responsible for warfare development, training, innovation and military effectiveness.

Veteran LED will install approximately 1,500 LED lighting fixtures throughout the 165,000-square-foot, five-story headquarters. We'll be working with prime contractor Virginia-based Convert Solar, which will install solar panels.

NATO’s 33 member countries are represented at the headquarters, which includes the offices of the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation of NATO, Denis Mercier.

Happy Holidays

I also want to share something that happened to me the other day when I stopped at a gas station on the way home.

A complete stranger handed me this Christmas card. She was the cash register attendant and expressed thanks that I had stopped in. I sat down to talk with her, thanked her for her kindness and promised to pay it forward.

There is more love and kindness out there than you see. Sometimes you don’t have to look very far. Maybe you can surprise someone today and bring a smile to their face like she did mine.
